Second-Year Professional Internship Abstract

From April 22, 2024, to June 23, 2024, I completed an internship at Reverse OI under the supervision of Mr. VALLY-ADAM Siddique, primarily focused on project integration and cybersecurity. During this internship, I had the opportunity to train on the Python Django framework, a powerful tool for dynamic web development aimed at accelerating project production. I also participated in a Django migration project, transitioning from an outdated version to a more recent one, particularly for a Wi-Fi captive portal application. Additionally, I worked on the integration of a "matching" algorithm using artificial intelligence, which enhanced the efficiency of data matching.

My responsibilities included setting up phishing campaigns with GoPhish to raise user awareness about cybersecurity threats. I also contributed to the creation of awareness materials on cyber threats, including presentations and self-assessment questionnaires for the employees of a Reverse OI client. Finally, I was involved in penetration testing (pentesting) to identify potential vulnerabilities in information systems.

This internship allowed me to develop technical skills in programming (Django, Python), cybersecurity (phishing, pentesting), and artificial intelligence (machine learning). I came to appreciate the importance of user awareness and proactive protection against cyber threats. This experience strengthened my analytical and synthesis skills, as well as my ability to solve complex problems in a professional environment.
